Annex A: End Use/End User Certification
To Whom It May Concern:
Re: Compliance with United States Export Regulations
It is Garmin’s policy to verify the end use and end user in all sales and repairs of Garmin products/services and in all transfers of technical data or software to ensure compliance with applicable United States (U.S.) export control laws and regulations. Because the products/services you are purchasing, or software or technology you are licensing, may be exported and used outside of the U.S., please confirm the following:
- I (We) will not export or re-export any Garmin products, services, technology or software to Cuba, Iran, Iraq, Libya, North Korea, Sudan, Syria, or any other country that the U.S. government may add from time to time, unless otherwise authorized by the U.S. government.
- I (We) will not sell, transfer, export or re-export any Garmin products/services for use in activities which involve the development, production, use or stockpiling of nuclear, chemical or biological weapons or missiles, nor use Garmin products/services in any facilities which are engaged in activities relating to such weapons.
- I (We) acknowledge that U.S. law prohibits the sale, transfer, export or re-export or other participation in any export transaction involving Garmin products/services with individuals or companies listed in the U.S. Commerce Department’s Denied Persons List and Entities List, the U.S. Treasury Department’s list of Specially Designated Nationals or the U.S. Department of State’s list of prohibited persons and companies receiving U.S. Munitions List items.
- I (We) will abide by all applicable U.S. export control laws and regulations for all products purchased from Garmin and will obtain any licenses or approvals required by the U.S. government prior to export or re-export of Garmin’s products, services, software and/or technology.
IN THE EVENT THESE COMMODITIES, SERVICES, TECHNOLOGY OR SOFTWARE ARE EXPORTED FROM THE UNITED STATES THEY ARE EXPORTED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE EXPORT ADMINISTRATION REGULATIONS. DIVERSION CONTRARY TO U.S. LAW PROHIBITED.
