Setting Up Your Exchange Account

You can synchronize your contacts, your calendar, and your e-mail with a Microsoft Exchange^® account. You must have a data connection to use this feature.

Contact your network administrator to obtain the necessary information for your network.

1. From the Home screen, touch > Settings > Email > Add Account > Exchange ActiveSync.

2. Enter your e-mail address and your password, and touch Next. Your device attempts to download setup information from the server.

3. If your device does not receive setup information from the server, enter the server address, your domain user name, your domain password, and the domain name. Select the Use SSL Encryption check box to encrypt the data you send and receive from the Exchange server.

4. Touch Next to verify your account. If your account cannot be verified, touch Edit to correct the settings, or touch Save to save the unverified settings.

5. Select the check box next to each type of information that you want to synchronize, and touch Save.

Your device will not synchronize with your Exchange account until the account is verified. You can edit your account information to update or verify your account.

You can edit the e-mail settings to change the way your device sends and receives mail on this account.
